trying something new.

soo for the longest time ive wanted to try to coupon. i think its interesting & saving money is always good in my book. so today i tried to coupon for the first time & id say that i did pretty good :) my price before coupons was $79.21. After coupons it was 39.83. i decided that itll for sure become a good habit. especially once im married and having kids. but heres what i got:

I was pretty excited about saving 40 bucks. All the things i bought i either needed, will use, or can save for when i run out of other stuff. :) 

i havent done this ina while but i think its important to count all of the blessings i have. so here we go :)

thankful for:

-the ability to move to utah. i am very thankful that my parents pushed me out into the real world and supported me. 

-my tumblr. most of you have no idea what that is but i love it :)

-dreams. lately i have been having amazing dreams. it makes me excited for the future. 

-the church. i am so thankful to be a member of the LDS church. i truly would be lost without it. everyday i am reminded how blessed i am by being a member. 

-the opportunity to live in a new complex with new people. i love my roommates right now, but i am way excited for next year. :)

-baseball season. i cannot wait for it to start :) itll be great

-hugs. they really make everything better.

-the gym. whenever im stressed, working out seriously makes it soo much better. im glad that kailee has the same desire to work out so im not alone :)

on another note: i am so stoked to go home tomorrow. i miss my family and im excited to be in weather not soo cold. so yeah, next year im moving into a complex called king henry. im really excited for it. everything happens for a reason and i am a strong believer of that. for a couple weeks i was under the impression that i should move to STG and go to dixie state college. its closer to home and it just sounded like a good idea. after talking to my parents we both decided that uvu is where i should stay. im really excited that me and my parents are in tune with eachother. prayers are answered and i know that. :)

a pictures worth a thousand words.

so after christmas there was a lot of shopping done. i mean a lot. it could quite possibly be my new favorite thing but yeah i spent too much time at the malls of vegas.

tanner and i had many lazy nights while we were home. were not extremely social and were content with sitting at one of our houses and watching movies. 

i went to a party with these two in north town. it was so fun to see everyone from high school and my friends that have been outta state for college. people always say that once you leave high school you realize who your real friends are. just so ya know- i have really good friends :)

these are from new years eve. this year it was extremely random. we went to a few parties and ended up at codys house to bring in the new year. i was just happy to spend it with people i love and people that can make simple things fun.

we had a sleepover with brynn and kara. i seriously love these girls. we always have so much to talk about and can laugh at the dumbest things. we sat and watched all our old videos and it made me miss summer soo much. its funny that ill be 20 this year and two of my favorite girls are 15 and 16 :) dont care tho. ha we went to canes and to the fashion show mall. we spent a whole day together and had a lot of fun. shopping with these two tho is terrible hahaha they take FOREVER. but ended up getting some cuttte things. 

went to support madilynne at a basketball game. i really hate watching her cheer. only because i miss it so much. im excited for next year and hopefully being able to cheer. it makes me happy that our family is so supportive. we try to be at things our siblings are involved in. jake had wrestling tourneys that we went to. ill post videos prolly later today when i blog again. 

this is sarah and i at coldstone the night before i left. she told me she had coupons for free ice cream so of course i told her id come. we get there and get our ice cream made and the lady working decides tht she wasnt going to take our coupons. awesome. this explains our faces in the picture. 

my last night in vegas i went to justin johnsons going away party. he is moving to AZ to play soccer and go to school. way excited for him cus that is an awesome opportunity. justin and i have been friends since i was in 8th grade so im glad i could go say bye to him along with all my other friends. 

my break was full of fun. going home i usually never wanna come back to utah but here i am. it is currently freezing cold and really gloomy. my second semester of college is going to be extremely challenging. but yeah- im gonna blog more later today probably. mostly with videos from break :)

i am very sad with myself. blogging is like one thing that i tried really hard to keep up with and i failed. big time! ha a month without a single post is more than sad. so here we go.

so the last time i wrote anything was right before i headed back to good ol vegas for christmas break. i was home for about a month. it was a good visit home. cant lie- im ready to go back forsure. which i will be soon!

k anyway- to sum up my break it was amazing. christmas was great, new years was fun & being able to see everyone else that has also been away due to school was great. the funny thing about going home is realizing how much has changed. i kinda expect things to stay the way they are once i leave and they just never do. one thing is jacob. he is huge. it makes me sad how much bigger and stronger and buffer he is now. its awesome cus hes a beast but i miss my baby brother sometimes. another thing is my house. haha chiane moved in around the end of november. i am SO happy she is there. its great. she kinda fills my spot :) she is a good help around the house and fits right in just like she always has. cruz is another one who is just growing up. hes just as tall as me and his voice is soooo deep. like where are these men coming from?!

so i guess i could start with like christmas stuff & go from there. so christmas eve morning my family went to breakfast. we each could invite someone except for marley. ahahah but yeah i brought tanner, mad brought maya & so on.

it was really fun to be with people that i love that morning. we had a lot of fun. that night i went to tanners for his family get together. i love being with his family too. spending christmas eve with people that i truly care about was perfect. 

so if you dont know my family well enough- we always open all of our presents on christmas eve. so when i got home marley was extremely anxious and just didnt wanna wait. of course my mom and dad stopped her and we read the christmas story out of the bible first and got to change into our PJs. after that we each got out gifts to open. my family also has tradition that we get 3 gifts each. a spiritual gift, a gift we need and a gift we want. my mom decided that since jesus got three gifts when he was born then thats also what we would get.  so yeah everyone got what they wanted and all 6 of us kids were happy.

my dad even got a new watch that he wanted. he sat on the couch for about 25 min with his watch just figuring it out and whatnot as we took lots of pictures. hahaha we all went to bed and woke up to SURPRISE! no santa hahaha. thats kind of an inside joke, but anyway next tradition is breakfast christmas morning at aunt wendys house. we've done it since i can remember and its ALWAYS a blast. we laugh too much and pick on eachother a lot which makes it even better. it stinks that aunt laana and uncle eddie along with the boys are too far up in oregon. i really miss them on the holidays. but yeah we ate and took pictures again. heres a quick video that could easily sum up the amount of effort it takes to get 12 grandkids in the picture. 

i really love my family more than anything probably. as we grow up we get so much closer. the holidays just mean that much more. 

another thing i really thought about this christmas was about my grandpa littlefield. a few years back he was really sick with non-alcoholic cirrhosis of the liver. it was really hard as the tight knit family we are to see him sick and in pain like that. i am thankful each and everyday that we still have him here. he is the best grandpa anyone could have. hes stepped in to be a papa to soo many people and is the most lovable man ever. i am so thankful for his transplant and for nikolas (his donor). our family truly wouldnt be the same without him around. 

that night was the LNG family party. which for those who dont know- my moms cousins. its always so much fun to get all of us together. were loud and funny and theres too much food. we started a new tradition that night- a dance off. it was hilarious.
