a week filled with family.

so yeah- went home for thanksgiving break. it was just what i needed. i missed my family too much.

during the week i went to breakfast with kaycee and her boyfriend kade. we had fun talking and sat there for like 2 hours. :) we also saw santa. it was a good time. since im soo late to blog this i honestly dont even remember what day that was. but anyway- thanksgiving happened during this week :) my family always does lunch at my house. at 11:30. my dad started cooking at 4:30 in the morning. ruining my time to sleep so this was the beginning to my no sleep that week. we had lunch with everyone which is always fun :)

being with family makes me happier than probably most things. i love that as we are all getting older we are all becoming so much closer. the night before thanksgiving landon & cambrie came over and we laughed for a couple hours about when we were younger and how much trouble we all got into. HILARIOUS. 

anyway, after lunch like every year- we headed out to my grandma glorias sisters house for pozole. i planned out my black friday shopping there and headed out at 9pm for kmart. after that we went to cambries house, played phase 10 for a lil and then headed to oldnavy. 

this is marley acting a FOOL outside of old navy. i cannot believe i agreed to take her shopping with me the entire night. we didnt get done until 10 am the next morning but surprisingly she wasnt at all a hassle. but yeah- we went to kmart, old navy, the galleria mall, the fashion show mall, the outlets, and joanns. i dont know how i drove all night long. with 8 people in a 5 seater car ahaha but i did. one black friday ill never forget. 

we got home from shopping and didnt eve get to sleep. madilynne my mom & i headed out to cimmaron high to watch jacob and my other adopted lil brother michael wrestle. wrestling makes me nervous. too nervous and makes me feel like everyone is about to walk off the mat with no arms. but yeah- jake did awesome. it was his first time wrestling, and had only had 4 days of practice prior to the tourney but hes a beast. the video is of his final match :)he took 3rd in his weight class!! he is in the black and he dominated the entire time.

the next day we took family pictures :) my bestest friend kaycee took them and she did SO stinkin good. they turned out so cute. my mom was happy with them :)

i love my family more than i could describe. they make me happy. they make me laugh. they are more than important to me.

to catch up on my november tradition--
nov 21- the ensign. getting the conference edition of the ensign is my favorite. i try my best to read every talk and i highlight the crap out of it. i never really realized how blessed i am to have these things at my hand. especially talks from the prophet of the lord.

nov 22- my laptop. i honestly dont know what id do without it. my macbook pro makes life much easier.

nov 23- thanksgiving lunch. being able to be with my family is better than anything else. i love the laughs we all share.

nov 24- my cousins. cambrie and landon are truly two of the people that mean the most to me. over the years weve become so much closer. its weird that they are in their twenties & im soon to follow. it feels like just yesterday we were at cc ronnow elementary and climbing all of nanays trees at her house.

nov 25-vitamins. im kind of a health freak. i hate getting sick. since its so dang cold in utah i know im in for it. thank goodness nanay betty sent me here with hundreds of vitamins haha

nov 26- happiness. i think being happy has become a top priority for me. it makes me happy when my family and best friends are happy. i love my life and everything and everyone in it.

nov 27- family that may not be blood- but they are just as close. quan may not be blood but hes as close as it gets. i missed him loads at thanksgiving. hes my protector and i love him forever!! chiane- shes my cousin. im so glad that she is able to see us as family as much as we do.

nov 28- college. i hate it but i love that i have the chance to further my education

nov 29- black friday shopping. my favorite day in between thanksgiving and christmas :)

nov 30-life. i am thankful for everything i have. for the life i live and the people that i surround myself with. im thankful for good parents, good friends, good family, and a good life.

that date was the beginning of a something incredible. tanner & i officially became a couple a year ago today. i cant explained how blessed and lucky i feel to be his girl.

a lot of people ask- so how did you guys meet? well its really not that complicated. we obviously went to high school together. we had a class together freshmen year- "freshmen studies" with the baseball pitching coach- traynor. we sat across from eachother the entire year. we both claim to have had crushes on eachother way back then- but i think hes lying :) he played basketball while i cheered and we even had a song about him. sophomore year rolled around and we had no classes together. we didnt talk because we never saw eachother but i again cheered him on during basketball season. when junior year came we had AP stats together. tanner & i got really close, we talked about everything in this class. he was like my best friend. its funny looking back at things realizing how and when we got so close. how much i trusted him and much he meant to me at that time. after that school year tanner went to utah for the summer to play baseball. we texted most of the summer, and i kept him updated on what was happening in vegas. senior year started and he was still my best friend. i had a boyfriend but broke up with him in october. soon after tanner quickly was trying to spit game. a short month later he asked me out on a drive back to my house.

tanner is my best friend. he means the absolute world to me. For the past year i have realized that i honestly dont know what i would do without him. we have had an amazing year. full of fun memories and lots of love. i cant wait for the years to come. everything is better since we've been together. i am at my happiest. tanner- I LOVE YOU! youre the best boyfriend and my best friend. thank you for this past year, you are incredible.

i hate that i harldy have time to blog now. with tests, and studying, and everything- i sure need to catch up. so i havent blogged in 9 days- so thankfuls.

nov 11- the temple. i am soo soo thankful for the konwledge about the temple, what can happen there and the amount of temples so close to me. in vegas and utah. i am truly blessed.

nov 12- movies- i pretty much could watch movies all day long. glad that i have classics- the sandlot, matilda, the little rascals. all at my house :)

nov 13-my grandparents. they are INCREDIBLE in too many ways to list. id truly be lost without them in my life.

nov 14-my talents. i may not use them like i should, but im thankful for the opportunity that my mom gave me to develop them through all the many years of gym, piano, choir, ballet, jazz, tap, cheer and countless others.

nov 15- the holidays. they make me happy. i love being with the people i love and that are important to me.

nov 16-sports. growing up around sports has made me love them even more. im thankful i get to watch sports whenever i want and for good yummy teams. like LSU :)

nov 17-social networks. what would i do without them? its great to catch up with whoever- and people i havent seen ina while.

nov 18-being able to work out. i am soo glad that i can run and do whatever when i want.

nov 19-skype. with tanner being in the dominican republic and not being able to use his phone i miss him lots. thank goodness i got to see him today even if it was just for a lil.

SOOOO yeah. i have lots going on. this week was pretty exciting. sunday was a goooood day. church was great and after church tanner and i went to tessa and tylers to play with Em and make pazookies with them. on monday it was tanners cousins birthday- Tommy. we all went to olive garden then to the mall. after we went to the movies and watch warrior. if you havent seen it you should. its SOOO good. its an MMA fighting movie but such a good story behind it. my dad would love it. the rest of this week i just had school and what not. sarah boyer came to stay with me this week which was fun :) on thursday night we went with kailee to watch breaking dawn. last night tanner left for the DR and he had a safe flight there and all. he says its really hot and humid. but last night hadley eric sarah & i hung out. we went up to the provo temple to take pictures and play in the snow. hadley and sarah stayed the night and we put a matress in my living room. we watched movies and had a really fun night. i love hanging out with them. :)

i leave for vegas monday and i cannot wait!!!! :) i am so excited to see my family. and my best friends.

tomorrow is mine and tanners one year. CRAZY!! :) i am so happy that hes all mine.

thankful thursday on steroids.

like yeah, its november! YEEEEE. i love love LOVE this month. i have totally slacked on my blogging lately so here we go:

nov 1. thankful for: my INCREDIBLE family. i would truly have no idea what to do without them. i am so completely blessed with a supportive and amazing family. even those who arent related by blood- love you all toooo much.

nov 2. thankful for: opportunities. when senior year rolled around i really didnt know what i wanted to do after i graduated. being able to come to utah and go to uvu is such a blessing. i am so thankful that i had this opportunity.

nov 3. thankful for: good health. i am thankful for such a healthy body. being able to do the things i want everyday is something to be very thankful for.

nov 4. thankful for: the LDS church: i am soo soo thankful that i was born and raised a member of the church. the blessings that i get from that are unmeasurable and i would literally be lost without it. prayer, the scriptures, the modern day prophets, church music- all of it is brilliant.

nov 5. thankful for: Tanner Chauncey. november 20th marks our one year of being together as a couple. i am so thankful that tanner came into my life when he did. so many blessings and happy times come along with our relationship. i truly love him and am thankful for all that he has done for me. he is my best friend and a huge part of my life <3

nov 6. thankful for: a bed to sleep in every night. my bed here in utah may not be the best- but im thankful for it none the less.

nov 7. thankful for:my best friends. they know who they are- the ones who have always always been there for me. they do so much for me on the daily and i couldnt ask for better!

nov 8. thankful for: amazing roommates. we are family. we yell, pick up after eachother, argue- but in the end we have to deal cus we live too close. haha but i really love them a lot. they have made my college experience one to remember.

nov 9. thankful for: good examples in my life. i have amazing people that i can look up to and am extremely thankful for. mom, nanay glo& betty, all my aunts, my big sisters-britt & tessa, meegan fast, and all the others that have impacted my life for the good.

nov 10. thankful for: music. i think that without music life would be dull, and not as enjoyable. all types- couldnt go a day without it.


so yeah i will try to keep up with this- but update on my life! no longer do i have a job. it really stinks! making my own money was awesome. but the family i was nannying for no longer needed me because  the mom is working less- but it was a good experience while it lasted.

for those of you wondering in vegas- ill be home on monday the 21st. :) i cannot wait- sushi, nanays cooking, thanksgiving, black friday shopping :D

so previously in my blog i had mentioned that i got a job. i nanny 2 lil boys. they are fraternal twins and 3 years old. they are extremely fun, super cute, and full of energy. i babysit them tuesday, thursday, and saturday for 4 hours each day. their names are tristan & trevor & i really enjoy my job. it doesnt feel like im working cus i love kids. watching them along with watching emree makes me wish that someone in my immediate family would have kids. or like mom...... HAHAHAH! jk :) maybe you could adopt mom? like a lil african baby. thatd be great :)

so yeah, i get 8 bucks an hour and get paid hourly. its great. im excited that now i have a job i get to pay tithing every week! this also means ill finally be able to buy my family christmas gifts from MEEEE! having money really has some advantages :)

 tristan- hes more cuddly and way sweet

trevor- hes one minute older and a firecracker

for those of you who are wondering- school is really good. i have done well on my midterms and i register for next semester soon!! & also im considering transferring to byu. if i do- i apply this next month. so prayers would be awesome. i really am hoping to get into byu so i can try out for cheer. i miss it way too much- plus i feel like im wasting talents that i spent too many years in gymnastics and dance to not further my abilities. so pray- THANKS :)

hopefully tomorrow i will find time to blog so that i can catch up on my thankful thursday. especially considering that its novembr- pretty much my favorite month. i have tons to be thankful for.
